Context-Aware eDiscovery in Microsoft 365 Environments

In Microsoft 365, relevant content is not always stored in a custodian’s mailbox or OneDrive account. A document may be owned by a colleague, housed in a SharePoint site, shared through Teams, or accessed by a link—placing it outside the locations initially identified for preservation. At the same time, shared documents remain live and can continue changing long after the original conversation or business decision takes place. The version available during collection may therefore differ significantly from the version recipients reviewed or discussed.
