Business Development Representative (US / UK Remote)

Job Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Business Development Representative with 1-3 years experience successfully prospecting into enterprise accounts. You will be responsible for identifying potential customers and conducting initial reach out via phone, email, and other creative outlets. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully breaking into enterprise accounts and loves the challenges that come with outbound prospecting in a competitive market. Ultimately, your role will boost sales and contribute to our overall long-term growth. Job Responsibilities 

  • Support overall strategy defined by the Sales Director to achieve or exceed performance metrics 
  • Use creative prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to potential prospects 
  • Present our company highlights in a concise manner to potential customers 
  • Quickly identify the needs & challenges of prospective customers and suggest appropriate products/services 
  • Schedule discovery meetings for Sales Directors / Account Executives 
  • Meet or exceed weekly/monthly performance metrics (ex. calls, emails, meetings booked, etc.) 

Job Skills & Specifications

Required 

  • Degree in Business or related areas + at least 1 year of relevant business experience 
  • Demonstrable experience of successfully prospecting for technology company into enterprise accounts  
  • Hands-on experience with multiple prospecting tools and techniques 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills  
  • Strong organizational and time management skills  
  • Knowledge of business processes and organizational structures 
  • Proven track record of exceeding KPI’s  

Desirable 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Exchange, Enterprise Vault, or email archiving
  • Experience with Cloudficient technologies 
  • Experience using a CRM, knowledge of HubSpot 
  • Experience using sales prospecting tools such as: Sales Navigator, Cognism, ZoomInfo, etc.
